Your visit to southern Egypt would not be complete without a visit to these two interesting and unique temples in Aswan. Kom Ombo Temple and Edfu Temple
At 7:00 a.m. or your preferred time, Our Guide will pick you up from your hotel in Aswan and transfer you by private air-conditioning vehicle to Edfu, about a two-hour drive north of Aswan. Upon arrival in Edfu you can visit the majestic Edfu Temple dedicated to Horus which is often considered the best preserved cult temple in Egypt. According to Egyptian myths, it was the place where the god Horus took revenge after killing the god Seth. Then continue your day tour trip to Kom Ombo which is located on high ground overlooking the Nile. It differs from other temples because it is dedicated to two deities: the god Horus with the head of a falcon, and the god Sobek with the head of a crocodile.
